Book Subtitle Generator: Describe Your Book Clearly

Create three nonfiction subtitle starting points from your topic, reader, and the result your book supports. This uses transparent templates in your browser. It does not estimate search volume or promise higher sales.

Choose a subtitle you can defend

A subtitle should explain the book’s subject and intended reader. Remove unsupported timelines, income promises, bestseller claims, and repeated keywords. Read the title and subtitle together: if both say the same thing, use the subtitle to add useful detail.

Example revision

“The Ultimate Guaranteed Gardening Success System” makes a promise it cannot substantiate. “Container Gardening for Apartment Gardeners” names the subject and audience. A practical book on balcony herbs can make that scope even clearer.

Review current title and subtitle requirements in Amazon KDP. Keep additional search phrases in the appropriate metadata fields using the keyword workbench when working on fiction. No text is sent to a server.
